I would take a Bosch plug any day over the others. I went with Bosch Platinum +4's, and I love em'. I used to use NGK's in the late eighties on my SVO Mustang, and I never was all that impressed with their quality, so I quit using them.

Well I've had mine in for well over a year, and they work absolutely spectacular. I've seen numerous 160mph+ jaunts and they are in tip-top shape, unlike the AC's that I initially removed.

Hauling *** at well over the century mark. Speeds in excess of 160 mph: having a 4th Gen speedometer needle burried.

Sure is. It's somewhere in the 160's range. I've heard it varies a bit from car to car. I think it's generally 163 or 167, can't remember which. Then again, at that speed, what's 4 mph?

Plugs all depend on the applications. Most of the time it's an OPINION of which plug is better. And you know how opinons go........ they are like ********, everyone has one and they all stink.

I honestly say the GM plugs are pretty good b/c GM wouldn't have used them if they weren't. I am personally NOT a Bosch fan, IF I can't get a Delco or NGK plug I'll settle for an Autolite but I'm kinda picky after that but if I can't get anything else a Denso will work also.

Bite the big one and try some NGK or Denso Iridium plugs. The NGK's are like $7 a peice and the Denso's are like 12 or 13.

Josh S.

Edit: Note: If your worried about changing plugs a whole bunch........ hot rodding is your cup of tea! :p

I would go NGK TR55s. They will do fine, and should last awhile even under extreme beating... I use Bosch platinum plugs at work on BMWs, and they are a good plug, work awesome on those cars. Everyone has their own personal preference, and I honestly feel there wont be a difference between either plug. Nothing you could really notice anyways. Oh and on our cars with Z rated tires, or governor will kick in anywhere between 159-163.
