If you are working with a 427 you might take a look at our 247cc runner heads. I think they would be a little bit better suited for the extra cubic inch.

I am not attacking TSP (look to buy a short block or long block within a couple of years) BUT>>>>>>>>>>>> I never see any dyno data on PRC heads. Only dyno info I've ever seen on PRC heads has been the mags. And the results were impressive. (237cc & 285LS7s)

I was hoping that TSP would lend (supply) SUPER CHEVY some of their 250cc LS3 or 265cc LS7 heads since they supplied them the 418 LS3 stroker short block. The idiots (still disappointed @ SC ) threw on MAST heads instead. Everyone knows MAST has killer heads.

Jon@TSP. how about mentioning to the owners they are missing out on MAJOR opportunity to show everyone what killer products you bring to the marketplace.

I posted dyno results for my 418 wearing PRC 237's.

I will be swapping valve springs though, I think I am leaving power on the table as they look to be unstable.

I'm curious to see your results as well. I have the same exact cam from geoff in a 416 with tfs 245's (11-3 comp). It's a very mild cam with great drivability.

Don't mean to bring up an old post but I'm wondering how this package has worked out for you. Have you had it redynoed? How is the driveability?

yeah he probably had someone reputable as hell mill those. he said they were 64cc vs his 62's. He probably did lose torque because of the cam choice. His cam is probably better suited for the 5.3 id imagine. Thats why you flow heads, then buy the cam. peanut butter jelly time.

Default Prc237

i was wrong , i forgot to raise the compression ratio to 11.1:1 and have valves float issue at 5800rpm because of the roller rockers that i put on it , so probably theses heads are better than my PRC 2.5
i didnt see their power above 5800rpm where i ve could probably seen the gain..
im planning to re install theses next week with .100inch heads gaskets to achieve 9.3 CR with Vortech YSi supercharger@ 15lbs .. cant wait to see numbers..

now sure that i was wrong...

Has anyone put these heads on a stock LS2? I know it says for 370 CI and larger but anything with a 4.000" bore size and that is what the LS2 has does it not? I am looking to do a heads cam package on my LS2 this winter and I am searching for that perfect combo for 500plus at the wheels. Would there be a better choice of heads instead of these?
