Thanks for posting that. For clarification that is a complete ls2 engine vs a complete ls6 engine. Correct? If so it is interesting what 18ci does in the torque department.

I'd recommend a bullet proof rearend and a top notch clutch long before I recommend 450rwhp.

X2... Its funny how people worry about how much power they make and then when they make it there worried about how to put it on the ground without braking anything.

Any way, For the OP I reccomend a little more aggressive cam. Like stated before your best bet is to get a custom cam with drivability in mind that will utilize a good port job on your existing heads. Good luck!

I got mine for ~550 shipped. I could have shopped around more, and got bare heads for cheaper, but its whatever. I am changing out everything except the valves anyway. Though my set up is going to be slightly...different from his lol. 242/248 111 lsa, stock ls6 heads....cam is ground around stock 241/243 casting heads. After I get bored with this set up, I'll look at a slight milling/port work, PTV pending.

OP....Good set of heads, or port/mill the 243s since you aren't running a huge cam at all. Fast set up, UD pully, possibly different exhaust set up..you could be there. Remember though...450 hp on one dyno could be 420 on another, and 460 on another. Even with corrections, it can vary. If you don't make your 450 goal, but it feels great..be happy with it. My car only put down 262/303 with lid/cutout, yet I've pulled other F bodies, and was happy how it was. Numbers aren't everything..just a tool for tuning IMO.

A more agressive cam, with good spring and a shitty head through a t56 can do 410+ If you really want to be streetable then get the 6.0
