Will a 234/242 cam clear?

I have an old comp cam 234/242 112lsa (4 degrees advance built in) I should be able to slip this in with a stock 2000 LS1 without any piston/valve clearance issues right? It should be the same spec as g5x4 cam. Probably going to throw it in, just thought I would double check to make sure.

Yes it will clear a stock engine just fine.

yeah I took a MUCH needed break. Been around the last couple months lurkin, the cam is for the wifes car. She still loves the 4th gen WS6's. Alot has happened in the last few years.

I would measure that one to be sure. I had 232/236 .595/.578 113+3 and with TFS 215's milled to 60cc had .040 on intake at 11* ATDC....

There is a big difference between stock heads, and your setup. An LG G5x2 will clear on stock heads all day long. I wouldn't even bother measuring, I've done a handful of them and never had any clearance issues. (On stock heads)
