tr2224 cam causing misfire?

tr2224 cam causing misfire? I have a 99 Trans Am, put in the tr224 114lsa cam awhile back, had it tuned, but now im getting p0300 random misfire code so i cant pass the CA smog? is something wrong with my tune or what? I was told my numerous people that the 224 is a baby cam and passes smog no problem

Yes if you are in a hurry to pass. Otherwise you need to have your tuner decrease the sensitivity to missfires, meaning he would need to increase the count on the missfire tables.
With such a cam like TR224 I would say double the counts around idle area.
