I like the stock look as well. I would have done a sick heads/cam setup, and then put some nitrous on there with a nozzle/fogger kit under the bellows to keep it hidden.

(Try and clean up the wiring a bit)

i just put one in my 01 ss. Mine doesn't look quite as stock....but it did put down 621 hp to the rear wheels. All in all the engine cost around 15k, but for 620+ rwhp and 24mpg on the interstate, cant really beat it.

arent the (look of the) intake manifolds slightly different? or am i just imagining that? if so, thats the only sight difference i would be able to tell, until your "cam only LS1" walk the **** out on a whole lot a people.

That is about as stealthy as you can be! Have you had it dynod? Did it throw off the weight distribution much?

I'm guessing you didn't do the ls7 dry sump then since I don't see it in the engine bay. So I guess it's a stock ls1 oil pan as well.

yep stock oil pan, its a street car so the wet sump will be fine. I've only got about 600mi on it now so no dyno numbers or track times. As for weight distribution, i think the ls1 and the ls7 weight pretty much the same.
