Talking Started my heads/cam swap today

I had to start by myself, but my buddy will be there tomorrow. Sorry about the crappy pics, I forgot my camera so I had to use my Cell. I'm hoping to finish by Sunday.

Disgusting

Brings back good memories. Take your time. Make sure the bolt holes for the heads (in the block) are REALLY clean. That took probably the most time- cleaning out the bolt holes and prepping the deck for the new gasket.

Other than that, have fun with it. I love turning wrenches.

Doing mine again!!! Bolt holes for sure. Clean deck surface really well. Then make sure you use Cometic head gaskets, so next time it is real easy. Good luck

I went with ARP head studs and a cometic gasket. If I ever do a heads/cam swap again, it should be really easy.
