Default 241 heads on a 5.3/UD pulley question

would they be a decent gain over my stock 706 casting 5.3 heads?

im thinking if i use some 241 heads with my cam (218/224 .550/.550 114lsa) i can make some decent power ... the only thing holding me back is my ls1 intake which will get changed to a ls6 when funds allow

and also does the 5.3 take the same UD pulley as a ls1? i heard that the trucks take different ones?

current setup
02 5.3 with 90k
218/224 .550/.550 114lsa cam
ARP rod bolts
7.4" tsp hardened pushrods
LS6 springs
ls1 intake and fuel rails
ls6 28.8# injectors

heads are getting studded and im getting dual springs also

with the 241 heads you will lose compression. get the pulley for the accessories you are using. if using truck stuff get a truck pulley, car stuff get a car pulley.
