Did you happen to install a new timing chain? Double roller? I'd start by pulling off the timing cover and check your timing set. One problem I ran into once was my ASP pulley did not clear the crank sprocket on my Rollmaster timing chain. When I tightened the crank bolt, it pushed the pulley back and pinned the crank sprocket against the block and the crank couldn't turn. I'd check to make sure you don't have anything interfering with the timing chain.

My guess is to redo the whole thing. This time take off the heads and degree it. Maybe, just maybe the timing chain wasnt taken off dot-to-dot.

Hooking up compressed air into the cylinders will tell you if any valves are bent.

Is there coolant in it right now? Has it ran since you towed it home?

It sounds like the valves hit the pistons.

it almost sounds like they used too long of push rods, caused way too much lift, bottomed out the springs into the valve seals, and also make piston contact.

Again not to be a dick or anyting, but yet again here is a prime example of the importance of not taking the word of people to heart, always measure your setups when you install new parts into the engine.

Sounds to me you may have used the wrong valve seals, just a probability. There are top hat seals that must be used with any duel valve spring. If you use the stock type valve seal (top hat looking seal) with a duel spring it will bind up and cause failure. What seals and what springs did you use?
