Default What cam is this?

I took this cam out of the Bird, so I know its for an LS1 lol, but I don't know what the cam actually is. On a completely stock a4 it ran choppy as all hell and I needed to do the idle re-learn about five times before it would stay idling.

On the cam in the third section in it is scribed/punched with this
10:24B
08002

then you flip it over on the same section its says
23:48A
07202

The guy who had it before said it was an LS6 cam, then said it was an LS6 Hotcam. But on a stock car that cam wouldn't have run so badly, at least I don't imagine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Man, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe someone will put you in the right direction shortly.

Take a picture of the end of the cam with the #'s on it and post it up. That way we can see the #'s on it. There will be someone who knows what it is.

Thanks for the replies guys I posted the numbers as they are ground in. Unfortunately I don't have a camera that can focus that close up

Measure it with a micrometer. If the lobe lift is different than .308 (.525/1.7) it's not a Hotcam.

thats a good idea...... actually..... and I believe I have a micrometer but its only a 1" and the lobe is the size of the journal plus the lift so it would be bigger....

Well, thanks for the help
