Im really glad i bought an 01, actually i think i just picked myself up a monster. 322 rwhp and 344 rwtq, the best i ran was a 13.03 at 108.99 on the factory eagle GA's. the mods for the dyno are free ram air, descreened maf, and a cut out right before the rear axle.

On his dyno graph it mentions a 12 bolt with 4.10 gears. These numbers arent all that bad for his combo. 23 extra hp is a nice kick in the *** to. I agree that since he was already going into the valve springs and picked up the cam for so cheap that it was worth putting in.

Don't take this the wrong way but I'm really glad I bought a '99 too. With the money saved over a 01-02 I can get a nice set of heads and then some if I want to. And to get a best 1/4 mph of 110.4 before the hotcam with only 305 rwhp 323 rwtq I must be a really good driver too. This on a cool day with alot of moisture in the air(only 1/4 pass of the day since track was too wet most the time), stock size all season BFG KDWS tires and a 3650lbs raceweight too. Too bad I'm adding LT's and a dyno tune before the spring. I'd like to see what I could run with 328 rwhp 328 rwtq.

Actually not too bad for a 99. LT's would be definitely wake the car up. But everyone is too caught up in peak numbers, look at the hp under the curve from 5500 rpms and up. You can see where it's much flatter compared to the stock, especially at 6500 rpms where a stock stock LS1 falls off big time. Bumping up the rev limiter would help at the track.
