The car was in 10.0 index, broke steering rack on 1st "race" pass due to repeat wheelie landings. Truthfully it doesn't get raced much, it's amazing it did as well as it did without pass after pass like most setups.

So at 2858 race weight, it's a very light setup for sure.... it's an impressive number, but to say it's just a normal 346 isn't quite telling the whole story. For example, 2858 race weight, figure a 200lb driver and you're at 2658 for a f-body which is a good 800lbs less than stock. Of course it's going to fly. Does it run the number, yup, but with lexan windows, and stripped, it better.

From what ive heard its a stock bottom end with valve reliefs in the pistons. Just what ive heard though, you would probably have to call them to get the full story.

Why do people always try to discredit Texas Speed? Yeah, its a light car but at the end of the day it was the fastest stock bottom end ls1 in the country. Too bad the other cars were full weight. I am going with a MS4/PRC 215 combo. Imo, they've got the best price on cams and premium heads.

true that!! seems to be alot of bashing on TSP lately? for what? if TSP budget products suck, they would be out of business. if there products were that shitty, you would see alot of pissed off negative comments on the sponsor feedback. but ive seen more positive comments than negative.

Just an FYI, threads that pit sponsors against sponsors generally go afoul. This is why threads like this get the lock. In the PCM section, we lock every HP Tuners vs EFI Live thread because each mfr is excellent and each side has their own passionate users.

TFS has 2 years of solid results on this board. Your best bet is to use the search function to find all the results you can on the very new PRC 215s heads.
