Cam and Trq converter question
ok i want to get a cam for my 2002 camaro ss. and a lot of people say i should get a better torque converter. but lets say i do get a cam. do i really need a upgraded tourqe converter even is its not that big or powerful cam. like my stock tourqe converter wouldnt be good enough?

To achieve maximum potential for your application, you should always match your components properly. If you do not get the proper converter, your cam's powerband will be limited and will not be fully utilized. When I had a 224 cam I used a 3600 stall and it got me low 7's in the 1/8 with AFR heads.
