yes thats normal... normally what it looks like right before you spin a rod bearing... haha j/k thats not good tho

ha, i think it spun a bearing yesterday. it started knocking bad under load and then she went. Im working on pulling it out the bottom now. Getting it all ready to hopefully drop this weekend.

mine spun a rod bearing and it tore up the whole rotating assembly and the heads and cam, so i was forced to build a 383,

Damn man sorry to hear that. Mine had crap like that after I did the cam swap two years ago but has been fine since. How high did ya twist it up to?

its only seen 7000 once or twice. Wierd thing is it gave little warning at all. We will see what the internals look like when I drop it out the bottom this weekend.
