The only things that were destroyed was the bottom end. Windage tray, crank, both sensors, rod and piston obviously, and block. The piston did hit the head, but didnt leave even as much as a ding in it. Bent the intake valve, but JUST slightly. Exhaust valve never hit

are you serious????? The reluctor wheel on the crank is shot, so is the bearing surface of the number 8 rod. I only have 7 rods left, as one is in pieces. LOL I think your kidding though, atleast hope so!!!!

damn dude thats crazy i stretched a rod bolt once but i got lucky and only spun a bearing and warped the crank. still cost me a pretty penny though once i got it all back together

Yes it sucks, but what do you guys expect???
Everybody here is warned that this can happen on a stock block, yet most insist on reving those blocks way past their limits.
What a waste of good aluminum and block. To think less than 200$ could have avoided that (Rod bolts- Katech).
