Default Squeaking and tapping from engine after track

I went to the track and ran 12.1 @ 125 on street tires with a 100 shot on torquer v3 car.

Cooled down, went again, bad launch, aborted that run and went again.

Strong run but my engine stalled at the end on decel. I heard some metal noises inside the engine, and it kept dieing. we noticed it is squeaking and tapping. I feel the tapping in my shifter. Fueling seemed alright on the way home but it struggled with rpms.

I drove it home, 40 miles, it made it.

Did i kill a bearing? Or is it a bad lifter? I checked rockers and springs, they are all good.

Here's a couple vids of it

I would change the oil and look for any metal in the oil. I would also change the plugs.

I wonder what it is too. Sounds like you could save it before it gets too bad though.

Basic answer...start tearing it down. You're gonna have to anyway. Here's to hoping it's a lifter!

sounds like a rod bearing to me, when he revved it up a little. Is it less noisy on a cold start up?? At any rate she is going to have to come out and get tore down.

Sounds like a rod bearing to me as well. It would be quieter on a cold start because the oil is thicker and the metal expands as it heats up.
