Question I need help with lifters...

I'm getting ready to do a head/cam swap and need some help deciding what lifters to go with. Scoggin-Dickey offers the "Caddy Race Lifters" and then a plain "Lifter Kit, Gen III Engines, Set of 16" Now, my question is: Would it be ok to use "stock replacement" lifters? Or should I use the "Caddy" lifters?

Use LS7 lifters. Alota people use them and they are a great budget lifter. Texas speed sells them for $129

I read the LS7 Lifters require different length push rods.

Shorter I believe, you may want to search.
