Not sure I saw it on Ebay. and it only said ls2 intake manifold of a GTO. I am assuming that it is a 05 or 06 since is a ls2. But would this make any difference? would this fit my ls1?

no point in using a stock ls2 intake on an ls1. doesn't flow much better if at all. a ported ls2 intake though, that's a different story. many people still think it's not worth it though.

i seem to remember hearing you need the ls2 fuel rails/injectors, the throttle body or an adapter if you wish to use your own. also i believe there's one or two other minor things. i think katech sells a kit.

Yea, just buy an LS6 manifold if you're on a budget or a FAST if you want the room to grow a bit..

here's a picture of the intake. According to the owner it has been ported. He wants $320 shipped for it

You need to do some searching and reading over in this room, external engine:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...rnal-engine-6/

That's where all the intake info is.

btw- what year is your car

hell no man dont pay 320 for the intake, when you can get an ls6 for the same price. The ls6 will gain you more power and less troubles.

pretty much everyone on here is just going to say buy an ls6. personally i like the idea of using a ported ls2. many people fail to realize it's potential because of how poorly it flows unported.

check out ls2portworks, they have a bunch of dyno charts and stuff, if it's $320 for the intake/rails/adapters i'd take it over an ls6 anyday. if it doesn't include that though you're gonna end up buying another $100+ worth of stuff.

I just look at the ls2portworks and is said that they have been officially closed. I am guessing they went out of bussiness.

oooo did not know that. they had some dyno charts of gains and what not. i've read once or twice that a well ported/epoxied ls2 will outflow a fast 90 intake. if you wanna be different and it comes with everything go for it, otherwise you may wanna just go with an ls6.
