Default new heads,should I retune?

I have a 2001 ls1.I had the car dynotuned after my tr224/563 112 cam and flp longtube headers and strange 12 bolt with 3.73 gears were installed. I am now installing texas speed ls6 stage 2 heads with 2.04 1.575 valves. I had the stock 241`s on before. My question is,do you think the heads will flow that much better than the old heads and throw off my air fuel ratio enough to require a retune? I dont want to cause any damage. The new heads will bump the compression ratio up half a point or so and my rev limiter is at 6600. Still have stock injectors too.Car dynoed at 396.6 rwhp on a dynojet. Opinions? Thanks in advance,Mike. I know theoreticly I should retune, but do you think if I didnt retune I would be asking for trouble.

It will most likely run lean at WOT since it will be flowing more air with the same amount of fuel. Definitely need to retune before running it hard.

Any idea on the injectors? Any idea if they will flow enough. They are still stock(28 lb?) I dynoed 396 on dynojet and 359 on mustang dyno. I thought I read stockers were good to about 450 rwhp.If I need to retune I may as well add a little more cam since I am adding the ported heads with more compression and yella terra rockers.

Here is how you can answer your own question.

If they don't flow enough or give enough of a performance increase worth having to retune, why bother putting them on?

Because the heads were already on my engine but were removed due to a coolant leak.Ends up they were over cnc ported and got into the water jacket in one of the intake ports.Just trying to figure out if I will need to upgrade my injectors to a bigger size before retuning.

You could probably bump up to a 36 lb @ 58 psi injector.

Call Jon@ fuelinjectorconnection.com, he will hook you up.

Don't get talked into bigger ones, you don't need them. You get told to buy 42 lber's about ten times or so.
