Chris said that it was ok for me to post the pricing info that I have for the Eagle parts. I'll do that when I get home this evening. I don't have that info at hand right now.

My top priority at SEMA was to find out if anyone was going to be coming out with affordable stroker parts. Mission accomplished...

Ok, here is the info that I was given by Eagle. One of the mods ok'ed posting this:

LS1 4340 forged h-beam 6.100" rods $469.00 jobber $625.33 racer net
LS1 4340 forged cranks $795.00 jobber $1060.00 racer net

The rep that spoke to said that they will have rotating assemblies with JE pistons available for around $1700 jobber. I did not ask if that price included bearings, rings, or balancing.

I was told that the cranks and rods would be available by the time that the SEMA show was over.

Does anyone know the piston specs? Like deck height? and pin location? I have the Eagle 6.100 rods and they work well, They have seen 7100 a few times with no problems

Will Eagle market a stroker rotating assembly consisting of the crank, rods, pistons, rings, bearings?

Do they have a web page with the catalog?

Not sure why the cranks are designed to work with 6.1" rods?????

Anyone?

Jobber = non-distributor buying price
Racer Net = "normal" selling price (not the inflated, recommended retail price)

The cheap prices you never see posted are:

W/D = Wholesale Distributor (small scale buy-in distributor)
MW/D = Master Wholesale Distributor (maximum buy-in established)

Good explanation of the pricing tiers. I knew that there were multiple pricing levels but did not know what they were called.

They will have rotating assemblies available but I don't know if they will contain bearings or rings. The rep that I spoke with did not tell me. I'd imagine that the kit would because the rest of their kits do. The info on their web site www.eaglerod.com does not list any details on the LS1 stuff. I got that info from the December 2003 catalog that I was given.

Jobber prices generally are more than what the big catalog mail order companies will sell for.
I know for a fact that Accel's "jobber" price on a DFI system is more than what Joe Schmoe can get from Jeg's.

I emailed eagle about the new LS1 crankshaft and they replied back that it will be available on December 1.

I just talked to the sales reps....i cant believe how cheap these cranks are going to be for us as M/W/D accounts....people are going to be getting these cranks for around $800 readily available on the market.

The cranks are ready to go at eagle, there is no backorder of any kind. The reason they arent able to ship them yet is because they are waiting on custom BOXES to put the cranks in, to not hurt the reluctor wheel.

Anyone have an idea what machining and balance this new Eagle crank with a rotating assembly will cost?

The Eagle stuff I've heard about usually required a pretty fair amount of work to get balanced.

I'm dying to see the price on the stroker packages they put out. From talking to Tim from Eagle the prices are going to be hard to beat. I think the 3.900" will work for me.
