are these rods toasted?

i bought some ls1 rods and pistons from a fellow memeber and i think 2 of them may not be usable. he didnt mention the damage .... so i thought i would make a post and see if i could use them or not

heres the pics.... the first one is a nice clean rod... the second and third are the burnt ones... those burn marks are not smooth and there is actual damage to the metal it appears.... but it also seems that the bearing wouldnt even be touching them there, only on the sides hitting each other or the crank....

what do you think? do i need some money back?

take a micrometer to them and check that out, but if it was me i wouldnt use them

the pictures are shitty and they look worse in person I think I'm going to try and get another 2 rods in better shape
