ls3/ls9 cam in pre 05 block?

ls3/ls9 cam in pre 05 block?

do the later model factory cam blanks have the hall effect trigger ground into them, so they can be used in earilier engines? for example can i use an '08-'09 LS9 cam in an '03 LQ4 truck engine?

I have a LS9 cam in my 98 LS1, I extended the cam sensor wire and bought a LS2 timing set with the front cover.

Did you have to change the rockers? 1.7 vs 1,8

What sort of change did it make over your old cam??
