Help me complete my daily driver build up
All of this stuff is going on a pretty much stock 99 LS1, that is daily driven in the summers. I take this thing on cross country road trips, through the mountains, out on dates, to school, and to work... so my build up has to reflect a car that can be driven. Gas mileage is not an issue though... being able to make it 12 hours through the mountains without over heating or otherwise breaking down is.
I have gone out and bought stock 243 (LS2) heads, and a zex wet kit, that will be used for no greater then 100 shot.
What I need to pick out is an intake, and a cam, as well as appropriate valve springs, and any other accessories.
Suggestings on intake, cam, valve springs, and where to purchase these would be appreciated. Normally I would go with a LS6 intake, BUT I'm using nitrous so if an aftermarket aluminum intake that can make similar power as an LS6 then I will go with the aluminum.
Suggestions and ideas?

BBK SSI if you are on a budget. its aluminum and will fit an 80mm TB. i'de say if u can afford it go with a FAST 90/90. but as far as cam and being a mild DD i'de go with something similar to the G5x1, 228/232 Duration, 588/574 Lift, 112 LSA. and while u r in there and since u r using nitrous ide say this would be a good investment also: http://www.lmperformance.com/6388/1.html <comp cams valvetrain upgrade kit for mild high perf. cams.
oh and texas speed or lmperformance is who i usually buy through. there are deffinitely other sites out there though.

If anyone has a BBK intake I could use for a couple hours I'd be happy to engine dyno test for you guys. I haven't seen any BBK intake cars make good power yet, I'd have a tendency to stay LS6 if I was on a budget.
As far as cam selection give us a call, we offer tons of different camshaft options along with detailed engine dyno comparisons of each camshaft step as long as next to popular competitors camshafts. The best way to pick a camshaft is with all the data compared on the same engine.
We have a brand new 224 duration camshaft we'll be releasing late this week. It makes really nice power over the stock camshaft & begins making power at a really early rpm. A perfect small duration camshaft for street applications that makes over 60hp gains!!

yeah, i have always given the BBK a thought cuz it was cheap. but i mean it is SUPPOSED to flow more than the LS6 but just cuz BBK says so doesnt really mean anything. i'm with u jason ide really like to see a good dyno comparison between ls6 and bbk.
