Default super 7 valve locks work on stock valves?

Well im looking to do another cam swap and was wondering if the super 7 valve locks that come with the patriot xtreme .660 lift spring and titanium retainer kit work with stock heads and valves. I also noticed the prc spring kit has the 10 degree locks. Which one do you guys think i should go with?

AFAIK, the only vendor that makes a super 7 retainer and keeper for the LSx is Patriot.

I thought the Super 7 was actually a slightly larger angle and if that is the case, I would not use them with stock valves. Why not just contact Gunnar at Patriot and discuss with him directly. He has answered a number of questions for me in the past.

The super 7 lock will work fine with the proper retainer. The PRC spring kits don't use a aftermarket lock because we've never had one failure from stock locks. I've seen super 7 locks broken apart & I took the approach don't fix what isn't broken.

The PRC spring kit now uses a completely redesigned spring compared to the Patriot spring kit or the old PRC kits. We've updated the PRC kits to promote a longer spring life as well as better pressures!! For equal money the PRC kit is a complete no brainer when compared to the competitors spring kits!
