Default TR224/224 112LSA for a daily driver

I just instaled the TR 224/224 112 LSA, in my 98 Trans Am M6, I just want to know how well it can handle daily driveing , to and from work, stop and go traffic and highway? I just got finished with it today. It idles like ****, but sounds awsome. I know alot of people have this cam, would just like some more input. Thanks

I had the TR224/114 in my car for about 8 months. It idled great once I drilled the TB hole out a few sizes. It really is a great daily driver cam in my opinion.

have you gotten it tuned? that should help driveability. theres plenty of people on this board using that cam on daily drivers with no complaints

If you get it tuned itll be fine. You can drill the tb also in the meantime but I would get it tuned and then use the idle adjustment screw from there

Drilling the tb blade will help idle. The 224 with some Edit tuning can feel like a stock Cam.
