1. Does anyone know what size valve stems were used on the 2001 Agostino Stage 2 heads?

2. Can't I use the 921 kit on either size valve?

ARE used Manley valves at that time with 11\32 stem size. Well thats what they supplied me. You wil need to speak to Comp to see if the 26921 will fit. I will email you some specifications on the spring.

No reply yet from Barry at agostino.

1. Were the 11/32 valves the thicker ones?

2. What was the other valve size?

3. Could the 921 kits with retainers and valve guides work with either?

ARE used the 11/32" diameter valve stems in my stage 2 setup in 2001. ARE went to 5/16" diameter valve stems in stage 2 setups, sometime in 2002.

The 5/16" diameter stems can take the 918s or the 921s with no problems.

The 11/32" diameter stems can not take the 918s, but can they take the 921 kit upgrade with retainers, guides, springs?

This is getting very confusing

any kit designed for the 8-mm (5/16) valve, will not work with the 11/32 valve. Need to get retainers specifically intended for that valve.

I'm using REV doubles that fit the stock pocket; a really stout spring...buy these at Thunder ---->

...also I heard SDPC is selling a good double spring for a great price ------------>
