Possibly in time dug, this is also a lot of data for TSP to sift through also, last I checked it was at pull # 130!

This is my personal engine on the dyno right now and I've been degreeing in the each of the cams tested (in-between installs). I'm at 45 minutes for a swap and degreeing currently! Too easy.

Have you done any dyno testing with the truck intakes? not that theyre better but thats what the trucks run.

Dug, no plans for the truck intake, but if I locate one, I'd be interested in testing it.

thats cool. You know one dyno I would be interested in is open headers vs open ypipe

I wish I had an engine dyno, it would be so much fun testing different combos.

I think this is great and support you not passing out the advance numbers. All that happens then is a bunch of post monkey's regurgitating your hard earned work as their own knowledge.

Like I said in the other post this camshaft was +4 for a 108 ICL. This is exactly the reason we do the testing. Theories only go so far, the dyno confirms or busts theories..

Just for this camshaft here's the +2,+4,+6 Data. I thought I had data from 1-5 Advance, but on the 220 cam I only did 2,3,4 & 6.

Here's 3 of them just to keep the graph clutter free...

I should really be working on pistons right now, but I'm considering this as research into our valve pocket depths.

I overlayed the curve of the 220 with the 224/227. from 4700 to 6500 it's a bit more than 10 to 15hp higher through the range.

Looking at the torque from 2000 to 4000-the numbers are very similar.

Can you guys post idle vacuum numbers for the two cams? Would an average guy notice the difference in the idle?
