Are AFR heads worth the extra $$$$
Get the ported fast setup like I'm getting from TSP (comes out to 95mm i believe and a 95mm tb) and they are basically doing the porting for free. Vengeance had a sale going on that brought them competitive to TSP's deal. They are great guys to deal with and will help to steer you in the right direction. Even offering to flow bench the heads in question. Not many people will go that far.
Regarding the post about buying on classifieds, I have the utmost confidence in this forum and its members. Rarely to negative things happen that aren't rectified in some form or fashion. Everything I have purchased (10's of thousands including my new 427, previously an incon kit, 4l80e, yadda yadda yadda) has been great.
