Going back with new pushrods and rocker arms
my 383 with stock heads, stockls6 intake, 224/228dur. 581/588lift 112lsa, with yellaterra roller rockers, comp hardened pusrods, comp beehives, ARH 1 7/8 inch pri. LT headers my car put down 433rwhp, 434rwtq, through a twelve bolt. but i had 10.5 to 1 compression forged Probe pistons with no head milling, im actually thinkin of milling mine so i can get 11.0 or 11.5 to 1 compression.

Are you eating the shipping?

if you want to use a better piston I've got it for $2454 for Callies and Wiseco for the exact same rotating assembly we use in our HKE precision racing engines with ACL race bearings balanced and to your door for that price.

I will say machine shop seem knowledgable They are 2 SAM graduates running the place. About 6 LS engines in shop at time of dropoff. Two shop cars with major setups one shooting for 1000 on nitrous. And another all motor. These guys seem very knowledgable and easy to deal with. Sticking with 383 just trying to find the right cam now for my needs not sure at all on specs. Anyone who could help me pick a good cam to run in this 383 stroker sts would be appreciated.

yeh Ill be giving a few sponsors a call tommorrow and throw them the plans, not going to need bearings or balancing. Will call to get cheapest price shipped. Also need a good cam for setup. Machine shop will do the rest I usually dont feel to relaxed about things like this and always want the best. But I feel pretty comfortable and relaxed with them building it.

How much would that be installed into an iron block with some boost pistons?

How much boost, what cc heads do you have and how much compression were you looking for? What cid are we talking about as well, 408?

11-13lbs on pump 18-21 on race fuel. Looking for around 8.5 to 9.0 cr. Heads will most likely be AFR 225 with 66cc chamber. What the hell might as well go big make it 408 cid

Ok lets get back to your thread. You are paying to much for the main studs. You can get them cheaper somewhere else. Get some diamond or wiseco pistons for your build and you assembly should be cheaper.
