this is a 370ci motor...im gettin stage II patriot ls6 heads..now i need to decide the cam..im gettin the TSP heads/cam combo so it has to be a TSP cam...this motor is going in my truck..I was gonna get the 231/237 but i think thats to big for a daily driven truck and i want this thing to idle good..
i think i might get the 224/224 .581/.581 lsa 114...
i think this would probaly be a good cam dont u?

TSP can custom grind any cam you want....or well they can get whatever you want.
I always thought my TSP 228r was to big for my DD, now I want to go bigger, I think the 231/237 would be good, BUT....BUT.....i hear that the " magic stick" is on a 114LSA, you might give em a call about that bad boy!

I daily drive my TSP 231/237. I'm still running 3.42 gears also. I think in an auto with a 3,600 stall and 3.73 or steeper gears.. around town would be no problem in a truck.

Send me an email to sculbert1@netzero.net and I'll mail you a graph, I can also mail you a graph that compares my TR220/ 5.3head combo to the TSP231/237 LS6 style head combo.
Now I'm at 300rwtq at 2500rpms, 350rwtq at 3200, 375 at 4000, and 400rwtq at 4600rpm.

Is it in a truck? If so I would probably go with the 228R camshaft, it works really well & still has low end for the truck to get moving
I like the 231.237 for cars, but the extra weight will definately like low end power ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
