i think you are paying too much for what you are looking at, for example:

Tsp and other sponsors sell cams similar to that one. It seems like the new hot thing is the 224 cam. A 224 would put you about 375-390 RWHP, sound good, and still be real good for a daily driver.

You could also try vengeance racing. Thats where I got my cam and stuff from and drive it almost everyday. I take it on 300-400 mile trips every other weekend. Its the VRX4 228/230 .588/.592 112 lsa. Was very easy to tune also.

There are plenty of cams available for a car that needs to be daily driven. Something similar to our 220R, 224R, or 228R would work really well once tuned. Send me a PM for give us a call at the shop, we would be more then happy to go through a setup with you.

1. what cam?
2. LSA?
3. valve springs?
can anybody give me any ideas or what to pick for the 3 options. camshaft stuff is the one thing that i know very little on so i need some direction.

That SLP cam looks like a reverse split anyway. Wouldn't recommend if you are getting aftermarket heads like TFS. The "Street Assassin" cam is a good cam, with a good tune it can be daily driven. I would go for it.

i know that a tune will be needed for sure when i get a cam and LT's installed but im wondering if the car will run fine without a tune? i plan on gettin one im just asking
