Idle Rattle
Idle Rattle My 99 Z has a rattling problem at idle
. It sounds like its coming from behind the power steering pump (fluid level is good) and the exhaust manifold (all bolts are torqued to spec)...kind of has the sound of a loose bearing...hopefully not that of the cam or block. She runs as strong as always, but the rattle seems to be progressing, but only at idle...any thoughts?

might be a loose rocker arm, or maybe a lifter that is about to ****. I would take off the valve cover and check the rocker arms, I had the same problem, my lifter broke in half and tore up my cam Dont drive it around too long like that until you figure out what it is!
