depends on what you are doing with the car, are you daily driving, weekend warrior, hardcore racer.

The MS4 would probably get the most hp but it might not be good for daily, a 228 would be good to drive and be a real good performer but the top end power wouldn't be as good. With 59cc heads you also have to be careful about piston to valve clearance.

Why limit yourself to TSP grinds? If say look around and get some custom cam specs. Are your heads the old or new patriot 243? Are they welded to 59cc or milled?

and 400-450hp is a HUGE range for a goal.

with those heads...there are a dozen cams that could make 400-425hp....but to get above that you're down to a smaller list, particularly with the heads limiting cam lift.

the FAST will help though

more info on the heads needed

Of the cams you listed, the safest one of them would be the Torquer V.2. The lift is not nearly has high as the V.3 but it does have a slightly higher duration. Also, what kind of head gasket are you using?

For an automatic car I would do something in the 228 range on a 114. Their 228R/114LSA cam is actually a great street cam, good manners, and makes good power. With a lot of compression, FAST intake, other supporting bolt ons and good tuning that cam will make 430-440 and still drive very similar to stock.

Don't put a big *** cam in your A4 and make it annoying to drive.

Those heads being 59cc, I would have to agree with Damian, 228/228 on 114 LSA should fit with respectable PTV clearance. (unless you want to yank the heads and flycut of course)
It will have high cylinder pressures and good output throughout the power range.

so 228R on a 114 takes my vote.

We have a new 228 lobe that would work very well for you. I also have a small split version we'll finish up this week. If you want the 228 single pattern I can sell you one of my dyno test ones at a discount!
