I was wondering what is the largesat GM crate engine i could put in a 96 Z28??

 

If you got the $ you can customize and fabricate your 96 f-body and drop in whatever size crate motor you want and i know that GM has come out with their 572 CI. big block that just dynoed according to popular hot rodding over 700 HP and 725 ft/lbs at the crank and i also believe that a 632 Chevy crate motor is available also by one of the aftermarket BB Chevy crate engine builders. For a price, you can go as radical as you can afford! A 572 or bigger CID true big block would be AWESOME in your 96 f-body to say the least!

hey thanks mad i never thought that you could but that 572 in there but i dont thin that id go that big maybe a 454 or a 502

 

a 572 would definitely be awesome in an LT1 body-style. 502 would be great too, GO FOR IT!

 

I seen in a super chevy mag once a 95 camaro with a 502 it looked stock except for the rims cowl hood and orange paint

 

the thought of a 572 in an f-body just gave me chills ......

think of all the t-top poping, rear fender creases, door missaligning, windshield cracking torque.......... good times
