Default Getting heads ported...

I got a great deal on some 799 heads (same as LS2 243s) and I'm curious about getting them ported.

How much is the average cost to have heads ported?

Who do you recommend sending them to?

Hmm. TEA lists the stage 2 with bigger 2.040"intake valves and 1.575" exhaust valves. I wonder how they are going to fix the program to work with stock sized valves? Your getting a hell of a deal sonce it's listed at $1320 with customer cores. Maybe because you are providing all the valvetrain, let us know how it turns out. I also have a set of LS6 heads I want to send out to port but I was looking at Advanced Induction so I'm very intersested in your results.

What Brian said that the valve size will not affect their program. I am providing the whole valve train. They can accomplish the same numbers with the stock size valves. What the valve size will give me is more clearance.

I will post numbers as soon as I can and keep everyone posted.
