Current motor in truck is a bone stock LS2 short block, thumper cam, bone stock 317 heads with 918 springs and milled .030" to get compression up to approx. 10.8 to 1. It has the new Eldebrock ProFlo intake and 1-7/8" long tubes. 42lb. injectors, Yank PT3600 and tuning is with EFIlive by me.
In the vid with the Lightning I throttled back before the 1000ft. when I realized he was no way going to run me down. It went 11.69 but I slowed it down to 106 mph. He went 119.
My truck is capable of mid to high 11's n/a and should break high 10's on a 125 shot.
I can do 1.7x 60' on the street tires and 1.4x on drag radials and transbrake.
By the way, the vette said he dynoed 492rwhp at Lingerfelter's. I feel my motor is making more than 500hp at the crank, maybe 4xxrwhp.
Now all this is

Sure is... Good results I see. Should do well in a carbed application I would imagine. Where do you feel most of your power is made? Still contemplating whether or not I want to run the RPM dual-plane manifold or the Gm single plane. Dynos online have stated between 20-40lb ft of torque increase around 3k towards the dual-plane vs the single, but the single makes between 5 and 20lb ft up top. I think the torque in the midrange would be a better trade off, imo. Im not building a dragster, but more of a weekend warrior I'm gonna be runnin a set of milled 5.3 heads on my 6.0 in order to get my compression to around 10.6 to 1. Get some more vids of it idling, slow acceleration, etc. Great looking/sounding truck!
