Best/Strongest Springs
I heard the 918 springs break..Should I get the PSI 1511s or PAC 1218s or..?
Do I use stock pushrods?
I have 42k miles on car should I get a new timing chain and LS6 oil pump?
Am I missing anything?
Thanks
Shane

Shift it at 7, come out of the burn out box singin at 7400 lol.
Both are good springs though.
I would definately do pushrods and new valve seals as well.

How far do you plan on spinning that SSII? I used to run one and unless you want to rev till 6800, better advance it +4*
It would therefore be 224/220 .581/.581 116+4 LSA
7.425 pushrods
Setup is critical with any spring and to maximize life and ensure that seat forces are correct you should plan on the time and tools for correct setup. Don't just slap in springs without measuring.
For pushrods, first ensure the rocker geometry is correct and then measure for springs. Don't buy pushrods now, buy an adjustable so the valve train can be correctly set up.
I would replace the timing chain. As for the pump, depends on the year.

That's inaccurate information, and your opinions shouldn't be pronounced as facts.
I think all the other questions in this thread have been thoroughly answered.
