It all depends on your budget. The better the head, the more output.

Ok Im new to this what do you mean by refresh? new valves? clean? I bought these off a guy that only had them on his car for 700 miles then wanted to go with a bigger setup.

You could run them as is but doing a nice valve job on them with hand finished bowls will get the most out of them.

At least lap the valves to make sure they seal good.
