Default 799 vs. 243 Head Castings

What are the differences between these castings? 799 castings used on trucks.....is that it?

Some LS2 Corvettes came with them... a few even had one 243 head and one 799.

I recently bought some that had valve covers and rocker arms for $200. I sold the rocker arms for $40 and valve covers for $40, so total invested...$120
