Default JESEL .187 beam and AFR 8019 springs

I have some Jesel Y2K rockers with the .187 beam and AFR heads with the 8019 springs the seat pressure on those springs is 375 @ 1.270 cam lift is .62

do I need to upgrade the rockers to a .250 beam or are these over engineered like a lot of other things, and I’ll get away with the 75lbs excess????

Jesel can upgrade the rockers for about 1330

I think I would pass that question to Tony or back to Jesel.

What size diameter are you running?

Those springs have an open pressure of 375 . I've never seen a spring that small have 375 on the seat .

The seat force is likely near 155 lbs. give or take about 5 lbs. The open force will depend on the amount of lift you have, and the stiffness of the springs and the seat value.

Jesel recommends a limit which you're safely under . I think the .187 beam has 250 seat 600 open limit but you need to check with Jesel . If you plan on turning some rpms get yourself larger diameter pushrods , .080 wall 3/8 .
