Is your car a D/D or race only? What other mods do you have? Check some of the vendors and they can set you up with just about any combo depending on what you are looking for.

I have a TSP cam, under drive pulley and ported Dart Heads. Texas Speed is just one great vendor I have used. Check them out.

Good luck.

what are you other mods? youre going to need a BIG converter (like 4000+), probably a rear end too so you can launch hard.

TSP's record holding stock bottom end car went 9.82 with an MS4, PRC heads and a crazy converter, like 5500 you might not want that huge stall, but big cam, like 24x's will suffice with some big dollar heads. obviously i didnt give you a specific grind, because ill leave that for a sponsor, but just to give you an idea.

ETP are probably the best ehads you can get without going to world heads($6,000). otherwise, PRC, AFR, TFS are the other big dollar, high performance aftermarket casting heads.

if you want THE BEST, you better have deep pockets.

I have a SS4000. Great on low end sluggish on top end. MS3 cam and ported ls6 heads should fix that though.

IMO, I think a good set of heads with a medium sized cam, 4000 stall, with a conservative shot of Nitrous will get you your goal. If you are dead set on not using nitrous, then you have a long and expensive road ahead...
