very true...

I was thinking I always run bp93 and when I spray I was going to do the same like a 50/50 mix or 93 and 110 or jsut straight 100 when I spray..

What is a safe range of compression ratio to still run pump gas?

I am not running a eagle 383 setup ... I know what my compression ratio is...I have been running this setup for over 60,000 miles and it works great...it was well thought out before putting it together....good luck with whatever you do ..

While I don't have a 383, (347), I do have an SCR of 12:1, and a DCR of about 9.3:1 - I run on 93 pump gas no problem. I'm a firm believer in getting the quench area as tight as possible. My AFR 205's are milled to 58cc, Cometic .051" gaskets, and the pistons are about .004" - .010" out of the hole IIRC. Compression is your friend.

Running hi compression requires a very good tune too. You don't want to deal with Pre Det issues.
