which would be the best bang for the buck ????
like brand and size for a 2000 ls1 block has a rod knocking ????

not shure who has the kit but go for fordged steel parts.

Do not settle for cast thats my only advice

Fordged steel is stronger then cast steel becouse its presurized and has no air pockets but billet has the smoothest surface least friction and its the strongest due to it being cut from a solid chunk of steel.

Cast is just a pour mold

Btw all you really need is a fordged steel 400 small block crank, conectiong rods, main bearing caps MAYBE if the cranks has bigger jurnels pistons ect et....
