What sort of power fig would you see with a 408 with a big hyd stick(or stick setup to make big hp) ,afr 225 heads and fast 92/92 setup?

A lot... who knows really. Depends on MANY factors, even down to what brand of dyno you use.

Teaxas Speed told me ~550 at the crank. Again depends on lots of factors.

on the subject will some cnc l92's be better then say aftermarket cathedral heads

I think that is a very conservative number. If you go big bump stick, should exceed that Id think. Take your time, do the research, never have a regret.

I would agree that the numbers are conservative. But if I came on here and said It will make 600+ then I would have guys jumping down my throat that I am full of crap and what not. Therefore a 550 hp mark should be a reasonable guess.

550-565whp should be easily obtainable, but you need a good tuner of course. If I have a MS3 on a 114(237/242, .603"/.609") and bumping that to a 250ish+ cam with better flowing heads unlike the PRC 5.3s I have on mine. Hell I still made 500whp on my setup. But you will need a unreal tuner closing in on 600whp with a NA 408. But if your auto, higher #'s like that will be hard to get.

look in the dyno section there is a sticky called 408 part II read it, it will have everything u are looking for as numbers and builds go
