Default which lsa???

okay so situation is, i want to get down the 1/4 mile as quickly as possible, i have 59cc heads and am going to put the biggest cam that will fit, they say it should be high 220's and low 590's, i am going to be running a 373 gear, ported 92/92, full bolt ons...and the 59cc 243 heads are ported ....what im wondering is....does anybody know what lsa i should go with to get me down the 1/4 as fast as possible, car is a4 and still has stock trans so i dont want it shifting any higher that 6600/6700rpm, so with that in mind, any ideas on what lsa would be in my best interest, i understand it doesnt have a huge effect but i want to squeeze every hundreth off my time i can, thanks in advance.

112lsa imo, depends on cam profile exactly. But many guys have gone even tighter and wider with your same goals with great results.

isnt 220 small for an optimal track car?? 590 lift too!!
You have to know your exact cam spec before throwing a lsa, but in the stickies, it seems that 111-112 always come with great results.

he needs to stay in the 220s with that stock a4 otherwise if he goes bigger he runs the risk of blowing thru the STOCK converter... i would go with a 112 lsa on a stock cube motor that will be plenty aggressive

well i said high 220's meaning like a 228/228..593/593 or somethin like that would be the example of the cam im gonna need, the car has 11.2-1 compression and 59cc heads so i really cant put anything bigger in it or i would....thanks a lot guys a appreciate the advice.

i also forgot to mention i have a vig2800-3200...sorry

another question that ties into this one is it was said above that it depends on "cam profile exactly"...is that because of split duration and/or scr and dcr? or other reasons?? cuz im looking for a lopey idal so i really would like to run a 112 i just didnt know if id have greater performance from like a 114 or something.....i guess the question is, what to the exact cam specs have to do with deciding your lsa??
