I hear of 3 and 5 angle valve jobs.
How many angles are on the stock valves??
If I am having the valves worked is there notably more power found in a 5 angle verses 3 angle valve job...for the price difference??

 

There is alot more to valve jobs than how many angles it has. Valve jobs tend to be overlooked by most but are one of the most important part of a head for flow. Having the right angles and widths and how they blend into the bowl is way more important than how many angles.

 

Is the average machine shop aware of all these factors or do I need to find a more specialized (performance) shop??? Do you have any shop recommendations or details on what type of work I should be having the shop do???
