I had a 02 zo6 cam and my mods were ls6 cam,heads,intake,2800 stall 3.42's a4 tranny car ran like hell i missed the set up, Then i upgraded to a 218 224 cam
Need a good tune couldn't find it
Car shaking like hell.
Loping like a hungry dog.
Couldn't get a race .
Burned gas like I was doing it on purpose.

I vote Yes to the zo6 cam, I'll make power everywhere else.

It's your car and you have to be happy with it.I would go for at least a 224 cam.The 224-228 range would be cool.If you get a good tune you will still get decent gas milage with the 224 type cam.Very proven, all around good mannered cam. It's really streetable.Up to 228 would still be cool.I Think if you stick to the LS6 cam you will become bored with it and eventually want a different cam.Remember it's all in the tune.If you dont have it tuned it
will never be right.I think the ls6 cam is basically a waste of time. But of course it's not my car.I was going to use that cam than finally changed my mind.Boy am I glad I did.I really like my 224 type cam but just a little bigger would have been cool.

Think about it carefully before you decide.Do it once you you won't have to do it again.

I love my LS6 cam, idles and drives like stock, but has more punch up top; while getting the same gas mileage.
