Exclamation t rex springs?? input please..

what springs are you running? I doing a 1st gen ls1 swap and putt in a trex, pac beehive springs, headers, 4.10 gear, 80mm throttle body etc.. just fixing to get ready to fire it off and was wondering if the pac springs are sufficient? anyone running them with the trex? any problems? before i ordered the pacs several people have posted that they were running them so i didnt think nothing of it.. til now.I am running stock pushrods also.. the reason for my question is local dyno shop thats going do my tune told me i needed titanium retainers, double springs and hardened pushrods.. in put please?? its not goiing be a drag car just street car occasionally wound up..

If you are running PAC 1518's you are good. They will handle .650 lift and are a suberb spring. Stock PR's will flex under that spring and cam lift and hardened PR's are highly advised. Ti retainers are nice because they lighten the valvetrain but I would say they are not TOTALLY necessary but if you can swing them do it...I did with less cam...

PAC makes a great dual spring, that's what I would use!

We always recommend using a dual spring with that camshaft. Stock pushrods will not work with that camshaft, or for most aftermarket camshafts at that.
