Cam is on the small side. But I wouldnt get caught up on the dyno numbers. Run it at the track and if its not what you want change the cam or whatever you feel is te problem.

With those heads you really need a cam in the 228°/232° .595"/.600" range. You are not using the flow potential of those heads at all with that cam.

appreciate the help do you have a suggestion on one, or should i just shop around. I still want it to be very street friendly, seeing how the car is used on the street 95% of the time, just not satisfied with the pull I am currently getting with this setup.

Contact PatrickG and fill out the information sheet he has. Be very truthful with your answers. Pat will spec a cam just for you for $25.00. I had him do mine and had Geoff at EPS order it from Comp Cams. Very happy with the service I got.

Is it a Mustang dyno or a Dyno-Jet?

I got mine dyno tuned last week and my numbers were lower than I expected also. Mine was done on a mustang dyno.

I did a search on here about mustang dyno's and read alot of post...lol But it looks like they show numbers anywhere from 10% to 20% lower than dyno-jets.

Hmmm, that seems low even with a mild cam. Clutch slipping?? IDK.

Was your tune on a Mustang dyno?If so that would explain why.If it's on a Dyno-jet I
would say that is a little low.

If you dyno'd your car on a mustang dyno take that number and times it by .10 to .12 and that's about what your car should make on a dynojet dyno. That's from what I've been reading. I made 387rwhp on mustang dyno and I made 425rwhp on a dyno that he said reads a tad lower than a dynojet. But if I hook good at an 1/8 track I can run an 8 flat but I think it's alot of room for improvement on my launch at the track. So don't get caught up in dyno numbers.

yea ill look at the printout, ill probly just end up going with a more aggresive cam. I just wanted to make sure that there isnt anything else that could be going on that could be hampering my power output

it may be down on power if cam was incorrectly installed. incorrect tune, valve float. or combo of all of the above.

I am thinking about buying those heads soon too, I made 350rwhp 360tq through the mods in my sig but at the time I had a stock throttle body and stock catback. Now I figure I'm at 370/370 now after a tune without heads through an automatic. I would have figured you would be around 410-420rwhp. Maybe the clutch is slipping like said earlier.

Mostly dyno jets around here, so chances are it is one. But there is a mustang dyno in the area. Haven't seen the OP say so or not.

That is way down not a little imo! Cam only m6 cars put down around 400whp dynojet, 370-380whp mustang dyno. A heads/ cam m6 should be 430-460whp dynojet, am I missing something?

yea thats what left me puzzled as well, the car seems to run fine and only has 40k. I was expecting ~400 at the tires. Probly just end up putting a more aggressive cam(228r or xr281hr)
