basically they are the shittier version of the 241 heads, but with a little porting you can make them flow as well as a 241 head. the reason why the 241's flow better is because they were cast better and the runners a smother.

a ported 853 can perform well. with that being said a 243/799 is a far better head to start with and will yield better results ported

If you don't like those heads just ditch them and get a set of 243 if your all about air flow then look into aftermarket heads. Cheaper: PRC, Patriot's, Dart and Expensive: Trickflow, TEA, AFR
